This vase was made by creating a base of exotic purpleheart wood from Brazil and layered with 100s of colored pencils poured with clear epoxy.  After curing for several days, the piece was hand turned on the lathe by our master woodworker.  The vase measures 7" diameter and stands approximately 10" tall.
