This serving board is made of white oak from a North Carolina fallen tree. It was lovingly restored with multiple coats of oils and bees wax for the perfect finish. It has a limb hole that is filled with a grey and black epoxy and looks very natural. The board has live edges on both sides and carrying handles. It is perfect as a bread, cheese, cutting, charcuterie or pastry board. The board measures 16.5" x 11" x 2".
All our boards are finished with food safe oils and natural bees wax to ensure food safety.
Live Edge Fallen Oak
Maintenance is simple. If you get the board wet, dry it immediately. The wood pours are only partially sealed so that the true grain of the wood can show through. To bring back the luster just add a thin film of olive or or other heavy cooking oil onto both sides. Remove any excess oil after an hour. Not dish washer safe.
